RITS AI Voice Bridge 1.0 Is Here

We built a local AI voice bridge.

We got tired of AI voice modes feeling limited, flat, or locked into whatever each platform wants to offer. So we built our own.

Presenting, RITS AI Voice Bridge. A free, open-source utility that runs locally on your computer and reads AI responses aloud using your system’s built-in voice.

RITS AI Voice Bridge 1.0 gives ChatGPT, Claude, and DeepSeek a local voice layer on Windows and macOS.

  • No cloud TTS
  • No API key
  • No extra account
  • No telemetry

Your AI writes. Your computer talks. You stay in control.

Why We Built It

Native voice mode can be convenient, but it is not always the same as talking to the normal text version of the AI. Sometimes it feels flatter. Sometimes it feels more limited. Sometimes it feels dumbed down. And there is no guarantee every platform keeps voice features free, open, or available the way you want them.

RITS AI Voice Bridge takes a simpler approach

  • Use the normal AI chat in Chrome.
  • Let the AI answer in text.
  • Let your own computer read the answer out loud locally.

That’s it.

What It Supports

Current stable support:

  • ChatGPT
  • Claude
  • DeepSeek

Current platforms:

  • Windows
  • macOS

Google Chrome and Python is required.

Why It Matters

This is not trying to replace ChatGPT, Claude, or DeepSeek.

It adds a local voice layer on top of them.

That means you can use the AI tools you already like while keeping the voice output simple, local, and under your control.

Native voice mode is convenience. This is control.
